Amanda Bailey, PLA, ASLA in

Amanda Bailey’s work tirelessly bends the built environment toward justice. She believes in the power of place, particulary exposure to nature, to profoundly impact people’s lives and health, particularly exposure to nature. She brings the designer’s greatest tools to each project: empathy, humility, and a probing curiosity about the community’s hopes, needs and aspirations. Her passion lies in listening with her whole heart, investing in client-focused, results-oriented outcomes, and ultimately, impacting people’s health and well-being. Amanda utilizes her training as a landscape architect, urban designer, design-builder, and artist to deliver places that empower people to thrive. Her depth of experience in physical and mental health, inclusivity, and accessibility cultivates her inclusive project management style and project design for parks, playgrounds, campuses, building sites, and streetscapes that are constructible and maintainable. While honoring what has been, her work continuously pushes the boundaries of what is possible, raising the horizon line for what is next.
