Providing a signature architectural gesture along the City of Kirkland’s well-used Cross Kirkland Connector, the Totem Lake Connector is a new bridge that will span several busy streets near Totem Lake so that active transportation users will have a seamless, traffic-free crossing.

MxM team members led the landscape architectural team working to implement stormwater management plantings and mitigation plantings for the areas within the riparian zones of the lake. Coordinating across the project’s environmental permitting team, structural and civil engineering teams, a native plant palette blends seamlessly with the surrounding natural landscape.
