Zachary believes in designing landscapes that are an expression of love for ourselves, others, and our community. Coming from a conservation background, Zachary has spent the past decade improving habitats and hiking trails in the Western states. Serving as the Puget Sound Regional Manager for Washington Trails Association, he has worked in a broader range of environments from remote desert mountain trails to backyard raingardens. He has consulted for regional and federal agencies on trail design. He is equally at home in the wilderness as in the cityscape and enjoys challenging the assumptions we make about both through playful inquiry.
